“I have taken many trips with Carol James Travel over the past 10 years and I must say that each trip has been an adventure of a lifetime.  

In March 2020 I took a trip to South Africa with Carol and a group of 13 other travelers.  It was phenomenal!  The hotels we lodged in were beautiful with friendly staff and each hotel had an exceptional continental breakfast.  The restaurants that were chosen for our other meals served absolutely delicious cuisine.   Our days were packed with enjoyable tours of Cape Town where we enjoyed a trip up to the top of the beautiful Table Mountain, a historic trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner, and a trip Johannesburg where we toured the vineyards of Stellenbosch which included a cellar tour and wine tasting.   We also visited the Apartheid Museum, which was "must see"  as it was an informative reminder of South Africa's punitive history.  A private game drive through Kruger National Park was filled with awe and fund and gave us the opportunity to experience a "real" Safari outside of Disney World.  The tour of the beautiful Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe left us speechless as this was truly a wonder to behold.
